I made a mistake with my controller sticks, how to fix it?

So ive been doing a bunch on how to fix a stick not centering on the controller. Without thinking to much I sprayed some contact cleaner right in to the component thinking I was gonna fix it, turns out that cleaned all the grease of of it, and now it’s sticking even more… so I figured re-greasing it would help, after research it’s seems like silicone grease is the only thing to use (read that wd40 doesn’t really work that good as a lube and wears down the plastic parts)

But should I buy silicone grease (which seems like it might be hard getting in the right places in that component) or spray (but does that lubricate as well?)

Or I’m a on the wrong track and need to be pointed to another solution ?
