new 3DS BSOD with a blue light

When I plug in my AC adapter and press the power button it just has a black screen with a blue light. I do have a battery inserted and it does hold charge.

Here is some background:

1. There was corrosion on the power board, I replaced it, and the light started turning on.
2. There is no video or sound, the backlights do not come on

Something to note is one of the smaller ribbon cable connector holders (black thing) is bent up.
