Right Speaker issues after battery was replaced.
After I replaced my MacBook Pro 2012 Retina Battery today with iFixit, my right speaker is now crackling. The only thing I changed was the battery and no other cables or board was touched.

Sometimes other things break in the process or just the movement of your actions sets things off. Time to replace the speaker.
