Screen jutting out from one-side of the frame.

It broke one day during normal usage when I was opening it. This has made it impossible for me to use the full functionality of this laptop as I can no longer convert it and I am also unable to close this laptop as I find that when re-opening it the whole screen threatens to come out and I do not want anything to happen to the screen.

I would like to ask what the cause and possible repair is and how much it can cost. The laptop is out of warranty and broke just 15 days after going out of warranty. I live in India, so it is preferable if you please tell me the rates here.

I would also like to know what I can do to prevent this from happening again.
