Should I attempt to replace my logic board?

My early 2014 MacBook Air died suddenly a few weeks ago. I'm guessing the logic board went bad but not certain. The charge light comes on but the laptop does not power on in any way (fan doesn't spin etc.). I did see the charge light blink when I tried an SMC reset so I assume the keyboard is okay. I was able to remove the logic board using the iFixit guide but I didn't see any liquid damage etc. I have found a replacement on eBay for a low price but I'm not sure if I can replace it without damaging it. I was able to remove and reinstall the current one but it doesn't work so I don't know if I did a good job or not. I'm comfortable that I can get the new board in but I don't know how delicate the board and connections are really. I'm also not certain this will fix the problem but it seems pretty likely the current board is bad. Any advice you can share would be appreciated.

Thanks,

idk, it could also be the battery not causing it to show signs of life other than the charger. But you could be correct with the logic board being bad.
