Steamdeck Touch Screen not Working

I recently bought a Matte LCD Screen replacement for steamdeck. we followed the guide exactly. the display works but the touch screen is not.

what I have tried so far.

-tried on my damaged screen. it touch was working. but when using the etched one it does not.
-Checked if cables/Flex were damaged. (no damaged found)

-Boot into Battery Storage mode.

-checked if everything is properly connected. (they are.)

-reimage steamOS.

So far none have worked. is there any chance that I received a faulty replacement screen?
