Why my sunny nissan is only moving when I accelerate the engine
Vehicle moving only on acceleration
As @jayeff has already mentioned, we don't have as much information as we need in order to help figure out your problem. For instance, the year and model of your Nissan and whether you have a manual or automatic transmission would help.
Meanwhile, going on the most likely scenario, it sounds like your car with an automatic transmission isn't moving until you rev the engine to much higher RPMs than it should take to get it to go.
If that's the case, you're almost certainly looking at some kind of transmission problem, but it could be as simple as being low on transmission fluid. I don't know for sure about your car specifically, but on most cars you check the fluid level when the transmission is warmed up by driving for a few minutes. Park it on a level surface and, with the car running, pull the dipstick to check the level. You generally top it up by adding fluid down the dipstick tube, so make sure the level reaches the Full mark on the dipstick.

Hi @stephenbeharry,
Isn't that what cars are supposed to do?
What is the year model of the vehicle and what type of transmission does it have, automatic or manual?
With a manual transmission it should stall if there is no acceleration when you release the clutch otherwise the engine idle setting is too high. It may move when the engine is idling with an auto transmission when you take your foot off the brake though
