Why is my MacBook not recognizing my new battery replacement?
I just replaced my battery with the pack from ifixit and my MacBook is not showing up as having a new battery.

Make certain there is no dirt, matter, or bent pins interfering with the battery connection. Make sure your software is up to date if possible, then reset NVRAM with these instructions (or vice versa).
