How do I troubleshoot my freezer?
Kenmore upright freezer model 106.8262510 defrosted and melted everything. Thick ice so I unplugged, and completely defrosted and cleaned. Plugged in and it quickly froze everything. 4am all good. 9am heard clicking and compressor not running. Unplugged til compressor was cooled down and plugged in and cooling again. Need to test electrical. Have multimeter but can't find service manual so need testing process.

Found specs to test starter relay which is good. Maybe thermostat is bad. Even when freezer is -10° F and temp control is turned all the way down its still trying to start the compressor.
