iPhone 11 Earpiece/Front Speaker Not Working

I have replaced the screen on an iPhone 11 and have transferred the earpiece/front speaker assembly, which also includes the ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. Since doing so, I have been unable to get the front speaker to work. However, the speaker appears to have power as you can hear a bit of a fuzz, and the ambient light sensor and Face ID is working as expected. There are no visible rips or tears or damage to the assembly. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
