Switch screen does not display picture when waking from sleep

Basically if I perform a hard reset the screen comes on and everything works. But when I wake it from sleep, the screen backlight comes on and sound comes through, but does not display an image. I just finished replacing the front and back shell of my console, so I would guess that I did something wrong when reassembling it. Any suggestions as to what went wrong?

I think i found the source of the issue. One of the pins on the lcd connector is bent. Anybody know if this can be easily repaired, and if so, how?
