Why is the mic not working

The mic on my pc is not accepting any voice inputs or headphones or microphone

Hi @ruepc,

What is the model number of the laptop as shown on the information label on the bottom of the laptop?

Have you checked in Control Panel > Sound > Recording and Control Panel > Sound > Playback to see if the microphone and headphones are being detected and if so that they are selected as the default device?
