Will iPad work WITHOUT LIDAR cable
I just replaced the display (screen and digitizer) but there is nothing showing. Could this be a bad LIDAR cable? If so, can I remove the cable completely. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated

I don't believe a bad LIDAR cable would be responsible for a "no image" condition like you're experiencing. I would double check your connections and make sure they're secure. Inspect the connectors for foreign objects and debris and make sure they're not damaged. Depending on where you got the replacement part from, it's a possibility you may have received a defective part. If your old screen still works, you could reconnect that to your device to narrow out the possibility of a defective part.

I followed the ifixit guide. I plug the iPad into my computer and can view the iPad on my File Manager but cannot see the screen display
