WiFi works perfectly fine but Bluetooth says avalible
So basically the WiFi is fine and works but the Bluetooth says unavalible, is this a board issue or a parts issue, if a parts issue what parts should I try to diagnose thanks
hello Aaron,
this is a standard problem in the XR model and does not require expensive service intervention (unless there is another technical problem or flooding, which does happen sometimes).
Upload your data into iCloud or make another proper copy of your data and sign out the phone of iCloud. Then, put the phone in service mode (turn off the phone, wait 20 seconds and by holding down the volume down button and the power button, insert the lighting cable connected to the computer with iTunes or Mac). The computer will notice the connected iPhone in the second service mode and will suggest "upgrade" and "restore" for you to choose from. Choose to "restore" option, everything will start automatically. After several minutes, your phone will turn on with a working Bluetooth.

what do you mean bluetooth is unavailable? Is the bluetooth switch grayed out in settings?
由 Jesse Hooton 完成的
@hootonberg It greys out and then ungreys out, it seems like it’s trying to connect to the Bluetooth functionality but it can’t. But the WiFi works fine so I don’t think it would be the WiFi/Bluetooth chip

@aaron66088 if you have a windows computer, download 3utools and connect your device. Click on "verification report" and see if a bluetooth address pops up at all. It should be on the left side.
