non-MAC RAM for MacBook late 2009?

Hello I know that my good old macbook 6.1 can get up to 8GB of DDR3 1066 RAM so I wanted to make a cheap last breath upgrade on it.

I had already upgraded from the original 2x 1GB to a 2x 2GB modules from corsair but not the mac specific ones, they work fine but sleep is not working with them.

I don't mind the sleep not working for whatever the reason anyway.

So I was looking into getting a 2x 4GB kit now and my options are those:

Mushkin 8GB DDR3-1066MHz (996644)

and

G.Skill SO-DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1066 Kit F3-8500CL7D-8GBSQ

There is a third option to go with mac specific RAMs from Corsair and Gskill but those are double the price and I don't feel like paying that price for a machine that old.

So is there something I need to check before getting the RAM? I don't see much about the timings the mac use around to check down to that level, does it matter?

Anyone have tried any of the above RAM modules and they worked?

Thank you in advance!

@nitro912gr You could always buy both and then return the one that has issues, if you buy straight from the manufacturer both have quite a good warranty, although it is often to easier to return items through a service like amazon! Macs are quite temperamental with things like this unfortunately, but as long as the frequency matches up (Ideally timings too, but that's more important for pairs of RAM sticks) you're already in good shape! Hope this helps.
