How to remove wifi antennas?

I want to buy a new tablet where a technician can remove WiFi antenna. I am looking at:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
  • Microsoft Surface Go ...
  • any other tablet that's good for annotations/diagramming

Why? I got into medical school after lots of effort and a 1-year gap; now, my bad habits are catching up and I need to strike a balance - like my life depends on it.

My !!%@ addiction is under control, thanks to on-campus counseling, but I want to remove triggers and associate tablet to studying only.
In other words: make sure tablet can only be used for note-taking and reading (it is okay to use my desktop in my private room to do other stuff).

Also, once-a-week I'd like to sync notes and PDFs to my desktop and to cloud. I hope that's possible via USB cables.

Please advise whether, and which model, removal of WiFi antenna is possible.

Why not instead just turn on the parental controls and have a consoler or friend/family set it up? What you are asking for is theoretically possible but but its like using a sledge hammer to nail in a screw. There is a better tool for your problem that can fix your issue as well as making it so you can actually sync your Tablet.

Given that you already admitted you have a problem getting rid of the antenna wont help you as I can think of 2 ways you can potentially circumvent you getting rid of the antenna and then you are back at square 1.

Answer: Use parental controls, onboard andrioid is good but there are other apps that can and will lock you out of nearly everything except at certain times, and what you specify.
