Why did my start button combine with the ... button

For some reason my start button isn't working, still seems to work from time to time but now it seems like it's been combined with the ... button and both activate when I hit it. Before this happened by steam deck started spanking out, constantly acting like I was hitting thr start button. Is it fixable?
