I found it. So you open the kickstand and it will reveal the screws. You just have to unscrew them and then pry the screen out of the back cover. Don't pull the screen too far as the display cable is kind of short.

This reveals the motherboard. NVMe and Battery.

Did you manage to replace the battery? I am struggling a bit with disconnecting the battery connector and it feels like the battery is glued in...

Edit: The battery connector has to be pulled straight up. What I thought was glue was in fact small plastic feet that are used to hold the battery in place at the back. Would recommend unhooking the display ribbon cable for ease of access.

@alvinm thanks for the information man! My laptop still doesn’t require a battery replacement so I haven’t fiddled with the battery yet. I just upgraded my NVME. Will keep this in mind in the future!

Is that a dynabook d83/m? I'm looking fo someone who have one for days. can you share what battery it is? i bought mine second hand and it's having a problem on screen glitching and the battery shows battery 2 not present. can I also know what's your driver version for gpu? thanks

From a cursory glance the D83/M seems to be a japanese variant of the X30T-E, specs and the pictures I can find online seem to match, but again just a cursory look. There can always be weird differences with these things.

I bought a PA5325U-1BRS 7.7V 36Wh battery from Restore-Hannover in Germany. It seemed well made and was detected iirc, but the charging circuitry on my unit was busted. After trying to have it trickle charge over night for a while it failed to turn on even when plugged into wall power. Hope you have more luck.

Battery 2 is the battery inside the charging dock I believe. Since I haven't opened that I can't say if it uses the same battery, but if I were to have a guess I would say yes.

If you are concerned about GPU drivers I would just nuke them via DDU and grab Intel Driver & Support Assistant to help you update that.
