Extreme Overheating for CPU core temp

For the past 2 years now my computer has been overheating, kinda normal for a nearly 8 year old device right? Well, it sure doesn't seem normal, when I use it for anything it will heat up to temperatures of 100 and 104 degrees Celsius, it has burned my skin before. Just over a month ago I replaced the thermal pasting, it worked for maybe 3 days before it was back to the wonderful skin burning temperatures from before. The fan has also been cleaned out and such, but nothing seems to work. I will also add that my battery cycle count is at 1,116 battery cycles, so perhaps that could be part of it? But anyways that is why I am here, to see if anyone else has or has seen this type of problem before.
