Touch issues after battery replacement
I had replaced the battery on a friend’s iPhone 11 and he’s telling me that he’s having touch issues? I suggested a software update to see if that can fix it. But I’m kind of at a loss as to what’s causing it.

Hi Neal,
I've had similar problems with a battery replacement, and I found that it was usually because I didn't get the connector fully seated. You'll probably need to open the phone back up and reseat the digitizer connector. Of course the usual caveats apply; have replacement screen adhesive on hand, disconnect the battery first, etc.
Anyway, unplug the digitizer and check both sides, on the motherboard and on the cable for any sign of bent or broken pins. Bent pins can sometimes be straightened with fine tip tweezers. Once you're satisfied the connectors are okay, clean them with 90% or higher concentration isopropyl alcohol; don't use the 70% stuff we all have around the house, too many impurities in it.
Reconnect everything and test it; if everything's working, button it back up and Bob's yer uncle!
Hopefully that's all it is; let us know what you find.
