How to change the screen flat ribbon?
My laptop started smoking and i noticed that the screen flat ribbon melted, from what ive seen i should buy a new one, but how do i chan it without damaging anything?

There's got to be a reason why the ribbon cable melted e.g. there's too much current flowing in the cable so it heats up, so you may have to find out why otherwise the new ribbon cable may burn out as well. Possible problem with the backlights in the screen perhaps. Has the laptop been dropped or gotten wet at all?
Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.44 and p.46 to view the procedure to remove the LCD unit and then the LCD panel. This should allow you to replace the eDP cable.
If the laptop is Type # 82HS (shown on product info label on the bottom of the laptop), the eDP cable part number is 5C10S30056.
Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

It hot dropped and the bottom of the screen has been cracked for a while and since the corner always stuck out i just pushed it back in, but today i forgot to do that and it just didnt bend with the rest of the screen therefore it started burning. If its possible I would show pictures
