Replacing an EGT sensor 1 bank one on a 2011 v2 golf TDI 2.0?

I need to replace EGT sensor one bank one. It's very hard to see all by feel I did mark it all out.but am wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I have my 17mm sensor socket wrench. But there isn't a lot of room for play. Any diagrams or helps would be appreciated.

Have taken off EGR and cleaned. Have cleaned the diesel particulate and catalytic converter non-issue. This sensor is notorious
