Physical Dual sim iPhone conversion from single sim and esim.
Can I change my iPhone 11 Pro SIM card reader from single sim & esim to physical dual sim by just changing the existing SIM card reader to a physical dual sim one.

It is possible. But the conversion is not as simple as just swapping the SIM reader out. It is soldered onto the board in this model and you would need to disable the eSIM so the phone will not utilize it.
This requires splitting the two layers of the logic board and removing some components in addition to swapping out the eSIM

Hi
I don’t think this is possible for 2 reasons
1)the sim card reader is soldered to the logicboard so if you would need good soldering experience to replace it
2)knowing apple they probably have this locked down as they have a quite the history of locking parts to the device to adding functionality is probably something that they are all over;-{

The sim reader is held in with screws and not soldered in. You can buy dual sim card readers online but it may not work. Take a look on YouTube. I'm sure there's a guy put a video on about it. Maybe Hugh Gefferies.
