Helmet doesn't react on changing inter eye distance after falling.

Helmet stopped to react on changing inter eyes distance after falling. I found a switch, which is showing digits with position outside of helmet and cable from this switch leading inside helmet. Does this switch responsible for getting glasses position and changing image location on screen?
