Why is screen flashing the apple logo while calibrating a new battery

Since you just replaced the battery, you could open the phone up and try to disconnect and reconnect the battery. On iPhones if the battery isn't plugged in, and you plug it in to power, it will just flash the Apple logo. Otherwise you may have a bad battery that is so low on charge the phone thinks the battery is unplugged therefore is just flashing the Apple logo. This would fix this issue assuming that nothing else was damaged during the battery replacement process.
