I have a Macbook Air A1237 (1,1) with a cracked display that is otherwise working well, and a Macbook Core2Duo A1181 (2,1) with a dead logic board sitting around. The part numbers on the site here suggest the displays/panels are different, but does anybody have experience with compatibility?
As I am in Europe, parts are slightly harder to come by - so it would be great to be able to use the part I have.

The screens are the same resolution however the MB C2D has a CCFL back-light while the MB Air appears to have an LED back-light.
That alone will likely prevent compatibility
