MacBook Pro 13" (2018) Liquid Damage / Battery Connector Corroded

I (technically: my spoiled cat) spilled some sauvignon blanc on my 2018 MacBook Pro earlier this year, and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this type of damage is fixable (without costing a ridiculous amount). The battery ribbon cable/retaining clip/connector/whatever-you-want-to-call-it became corroded and broke off and that seems to be the only visible damage that I can see on the logic board. I've included a picture of the logic board in hopes someone with knowledge of this can evaluate and let me know any solution.

(A little more background information - when this event occurred, the screen went black and the fans started to go crazy. I flipped the MacBook upside down and put it "tent mode" shape. I guess my overwhelming disbelief made me not realize that the computer was still on for the next few minutes even after thinking I had turned it off., I have convinced myself that the entire logic board is f*cked and this Mac is just a lost cause at this point, but I hope someone can prove me wrong. The computer still does not power on, let alone even recognize being plugged in.

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give me with this. I already replaced the MBP with a new M1 Pro 2021 14". I would just like to salvage this one if possible. And if not, would you recommend that I sell it for spare parts(?)

The zoomed in image was not clear enough to see the damage. It will likely need some cleaning and see if the logic board is able to be repaired. This will likely need some deeper TLC to fix. There are people who repair logic boards its then a matter of cost.
