Heat softens many adhesives, but uneven heating of glass, especially thin glass, may cause it to shatter. Razor blade type scrapers tend to leave scratches behind, I'd consider a non-marring scraper for the job. If you use heat warm the whole pane and gloves eye and face protection as well as protective aparrel head to toe. Glass is the sharpest edge possible. Nothing cuts better. Wouldn't advise it if it is thin glass like most residential window panes.
