Ice maker not dumping ice

My LG LFXS29766S/01 in door ice maker will not make ice and dump into the bucket, however if I take the bucket out it makes and drops the ice. I cannot find the sensor to see if it is frosted over like FAQ's suggest, any how to resolve this issue?
