Car DRL not working properly

My car is a Toyota Yaris. My variant does not come with a DRL,but with a slot. So I have installed it after purchase from an online store. The light has two shades, white as always on and yellow as indicators. The yellow is working perfectly fine but the white is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

2018 Yaris Sedan, please don't confuse with international Yaris hatchback.
