MacBook Pro speaker Cracking

I’ve replaced quite a few speakers, most of the time the diaphragms get ripped from over stressing the speakers. They are not designed to fill a room (even a small bed room).

So cranking up the volume to the top is not something I would recommend. Get a pair of bluetooth speakers or cheaper wired speakers at least then you can throw them away and get another set if you really need to hit the decibels! I should also point out the volume mid point is as high you should be running at otherwise you run the risk of damaging your hearing with a speaker so close to you. I also find the older MacBook Pro’s don’t have the best speakers so if you really want some decent fidelity get a set of externals.
