TX-P42X60B has 3 blinking red lights
My Panasonic TV model no TX-P42X60B has 3 blinking red lights can anyone help me on this plz it is the power board that needs replacing or can I do it a cheaper way thks in advance

Please verify the number of blinks as according to the Blink Timing chart for the TV taken from the service manual there is no 3 blink error code.

My set turns on briefly flashing green light, I get sound, then goes off. I am left with the flashing single red led. What are my choices

Count how many times the red LED blinks between each pause e.g. 12 blinks - pause - 12 blinks - pause etc. to view the blink error code.
Once you have the number then click on the chart above to view which board is the most likely suspect.
