thin horizontal lines on screen
When you turn on the laptop, a thin horizontal black line appears that occupies the entire screen. Curiously, they are removed by lowering the screen and leaving it approximately 5 fingers.
Ouch! I’m suspecting the ribbon cable connection to the LCD has become damaged. So its making and breaking contact.
Sadly, this requires a new display assembly MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Mid 2018-Mid 2019) Display Assembly

@stardobaba - If moving the display alters the condition that points to a bad connection between the T-CON board and the LCD panel. This sadly requires a new display assembly.
A common cause is getting something caught between the uppercase and the display along the back edge like a paper clip or pen this in turn cracks the chin plate which covers the cables. As the space is so little the glass shards of the chin plate cuts the ribbon cables. Some clip on case covers can also do this too.
