Replace the battery of my Dell XPS13 9370 and is not recognized
Just replaced the battery on my Dell XPS13 9370 with the iFixit P/N 328014-2, and the computer is working with the new battery, but new battery is not recognized, and the LED on the front keeps blinking (Amber) continuously. Also, the battery status indicator is no longer displaced on the task bar, as it says no battery is installed.

Sorry for the delay in posting. After I contacted iFixit, they sent me a different battery to try. And this time it was recognized by the laptop and is working properly. Sent defective battery back to them. Hope this helps someone else. having the same problem.

Hi @altan,
Try uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver listed under Device Manager > Batteries and then restart the laptop in the normal manner and let Windows "find" and reinstall the driver and check.

I also have the same issue and tried uninstalling this driver, but the issue was not fixed. Is there anything else I can do?

Same problem with us, tried multiple times and the XPS was not able to recognize the battery as installed. Sent the battery back to iFixit for refund. Annoying problem for sure.
