Why am I getting a service recommended message after changing the batt

So I purchased a battery replacement from ifixit for my macbook air 2014 13”, I changed it without issues, but now I’m getting the ‘service battery’ warning, how do I get rid of it?

This is what I’m looking at:

And here’s after the complete calibration cycle:

Hi Dan, please see image attached. sorry for the late reply, I was calibrating the battery as per the instructions, still a last 100% charge to go...

Andres - Take another snapshot and post it after you've finished the calibration.

That’s going to be a problem because I’m not in the States anymore. The thing is, this is the second battery I’m having this problem with, and I’m guessing it must be something other than the battery, maybe hardware related or software, I don’t know. Before, I had already tried resetting the SMC and all those options to no avail… any other suggestions?

@Andres Morales - Sorry, that's a big wrinkle!

Then you'll need to get a new battery locally to get going now. Do you have a friend who is able to hand carry the battery back to the states and then forward on to iFixit for you? If you do then that would be a good start.

You'll still need to offer iFixit an address to ship the replacement battery. At least that way you get a replacement even though it's an ocean away.
