The display & part of thecase was damaged and I mounted it in another

The display and part of the case was damaged and I mounted it in another cabinet, but now the CPU is at more than 300% of use (kernel_task) so the equipment is very slow, I do not know if I have to do any adaptation or have to do with a temperature sensor.

@abrahamjt do you have a display attached? What did you do with-the temp sensors? Which ones are still attached? I like your new case and I am certain you could fool the sensors. We just need to know what you have done with those for now. Where there is a will there is a way ;-)

@abrahamjt run your diagnostics tool and see which sensor might give you an issue.

Apple Service Toolkit (AST)

AST is a suite of diagnostic tools that checks Intel-based Mac hardware components, and provides detailed diagnostic logs

for review.

Mac Resource Inspector (MRI)

MRI, which is part of AST, is a quick triage tool that checks for the presence of hardware and reports sensor readings.

Sensors are located on a variety of parts, including cables, fans, storage devices, power supply, display panel, and logic board. Use MRI to help isolate failures and avoid unnecessary part replacements. MRI complements ASD, which is a more in-depth repair verification tool.

Note: If all AST checks pass and a component is still suspected of fault, then verify with other diagnostic tools

Simply use a 2N3904 transistor (a 1N4148 diode also works) in place of the sensor. One wire on the Emitter and the other wire on the Base and Collector of the transistor. That will "trick" your LCD temp to believe that it is working. See what your iMac does after you do so. Your antennas etc can be plugged into the logic board and do not require the LCD display to work.

Sadly, you need the iMac’s display connected, within it are sensors your systems SMC services requires to run. Your system is in CPU safe mode which lowers the CPU’s clocking and ramps up the fan as it is trying to protect the CPU from over heating.

The iMac design also leverages the chimney effect in its passive cooling. Basically, the logic board and the power supply need to be held vertically not horizontally as you’ve mounted them.

And lastly the case and the display also offer EMI protection as well as a Bluetooth antenna which is behind the Apple logo and along the edge of the display are the WiFi antennas.
