i have macbook pro2016 with touch bar and butterfly key board, i have now started having issues with key repetition in more than 40% of the keys, what is the remedy other than replacing keyboard with another butterfly to trouble me again after some time.

I would run to an Apple Store or authorized Apple reseller to get it fixed ASAP!
Keep in mind Apple only offered a short window of four years for this program so I hope you’re still covered. Even still press for a warranty exception using COVID as your reason not coming in sooner, shed a few tears with a face of despair, tugging at their heartstrings.
The program covers eligible MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models for 4 years after the first retail sale of the unit.
