What is the correct BLADE SSD I should use?

Try to upgrade my 2012 iMac 27” with a blade SSD, but not sure if the following one I saw from eBay the correct part, can any one give an advise? Thanks.

SSD 128GB MacBook Pro Retina 13" & 15" 2012 2013 A1398 A1425 | 661-7008 661-7285

Your iMac’s Blade SSD connector uses custom to Apple mSATA III (6.0 Gb/s) SSD. Apple offered five different sizes: 64, 128, 256, 512 & 768GB

Your other choice is using an OWC mSATA III (6.0Gb/s) SSD drive OWC offers four sizes 256, 500GB as well as 1.0 & 2.0TB

I strongly recommend you go with either of these choices. Sadly, your system does not support the faster PCIe/NVMe SSD’s and M.2 SSD’s won’t work as the physical interface is not the same.

Thanks Dan! By the way, by looking at the link you gave, I did see part number 661-7008 mentioned there, thus, the one I saw from eBay should work for my iMac, right?
