1 What are the 3 flashes of green light on back of LG fridge?
My freezer wasn’t getting cold enough on my LG french door fridge. I replaced the thermistor. When I turned it back on, the green light on the mother board started flashing 3 times, and the compressor no longer vibrated. I let it sit overnight, unplugged. When I started it in the morning, the interior fans were blowing harder, than prior to thermistor installation, and the green light is still flashing. The compressor was working prior to part change, and no longer vibrating now. 3 flashing lights mean one of 3 things- loose wire, PCB bad, loose ground. None of these apply. Why doesn’t the compressor vibrate immediately after the change of part? Could it be a faulty part? BTW, the “plugs” at the end of the wires are NOT easy to remove. I had to call a neighbor to put some muscle into it.

This model does NOT have a compressor relay starter switch, which was the 1st and most common solution to freezer not freezing.

I've discontinued my quest in repairing the fridge For the past two weeks, I've intermittently smelled "oil" (?) or something in the kitchen, similar to an oil change shop. In the past week, I've been extremely tired with low grade fever. I'd go downstairs, make coffee, and an hour later be back in bed sound asleep. HIGHLY UNUSUAL on my most exhausting days. Coincidentally, in the past week, I didn't do my normal "open windows in room next to tiny kitchen, put fan in- blowing out, open window on opposite side of house". Cools plaster walls down, saves on AC. It's been cooler the past week. House shut tight. Tired. Smell in kitchen more prominent. My deduction is- the fridge is leaking something. The fridge sits in the middle of a 6' by 10' floor space with back panels off. Need to get this out of here.

I'm having the same problem with my, I've checked everything and still looking for a solution that I haven't been able to find, it's not refrigerant because I checked the compressor refrigerant level and it looks good, the compressor sounds vibrating like it's working, when I removed the inside panel to see better why it wasn't cooling, all I see is that it's only getting about 52f in the inside coil.
If anyone has been going through this issue and has any recommendation to fix it, it will be really appreciated.
