screen black + chime every 10s, way to cast to screen?

I have an iphone 4, gsm, screen is black and when plugged in, vibrates after a few minutes, then does the charging chime every 10s or more. i tried the home button and power button restart, and it shows on my computer just fine, abeit it has a passcode so i cant get into it anyway. the screen is cracked to !&&* but it worked like that, any way to see whats on the screen via casting to something with a cable or the like? Id also like if someone could tell me what the issue is thats causing the no-response and chime. i have a screen coming the 1st of october, and if a new screen doesnt solve it, ill try anything.

TLDR: read first sentence, need to cast to something to see screen if possible, screen is almost gone but new one will be here in a month. what could be causing my issue with the chime and can i cast the screen to something?
