Can Home button cause boot loop?

So My IPhone 7plus started booting off and on and it’s not going to stop, so I decided to check what’s going on. After checking few things I discovered the problem is actually from the Home button flex cos if I clip it to the panel it’ll continue to boot and it doesn’t stop so I had to unclip it and I have been using Assistive touch since it started but I really need my Touch ID and my Home button back please somebody help

Yes this can cause the phone to boot loop. It is usually caused by a tiny tear in the flex after replacing the screen. A new screen should fix the problem.
