Not Charging after battery exchange... but charging logo is present
I’ve just replaced my iphone battery (3rd party replacement, but good quality) and now my iphone will not charge even though the charging logo is on, tried a factory reset, fully cleaning the port, using a different lightning cable, using a different usb port, DFU reset and finally, re-opening the phone to check the battery connection. The only thing that I can think of outside of a faulty lightning port (charging was problematic before the battery change, but never to this degree) is maybe when I changed the battery I perhaps over-folded the cable that connects the battery to the internals of the handset, could this somehow damage the wiring and block the electrical flow from the external port to the battery??… outside of that I’m stuck and with my battery now at only 2%… I’m not sure what other options to try.
