MacBook Air A1369 motherboard broken coils

Hello. On a MacBook Air A1369 motherboard I have 4 broken coils (the ones circled in red). What can I replace them with? Thank you!

Update (07/26/2021)

The coils on my motherboard have been broken and no longer exist. Fortunately, the motherboard was not affected, meaning they were not torn off with the copper foil and for this reason I want to repair the board. It's a laptop bought from a flea market and I didn't see those coils not in place.

These are inductors and I often find the ferrite blocks corners are chipped so thats not a big worry. Can you post some clear images of what yours look like so we can then tell if they are still OK

If you are having a problem how about filling us in on what is happening. Maybe we can address that more fully.

@mosdaniel - Oh Boy! Someone stripped the parts from the logic board! So the question then becomes is the logic board even woking?

Most of the time when I see this, the board was not working like the CPU could have failed.

We can point you to the parts but I don’t think that would be the wisest direction. The best answer here is replacing the logic board. Then its a matter of finding one and then keep in mind this series only offered 4 GB of RAM so it will be somewhat limited.

  • 13” MacBook Air Logic Board - 1.8GHz i7 4GB, Apple P/N 661-6101

I’m suspecting they stripped the parts and forgot they had, resetting it to you. I would return the system and get your money back.
