iMac M1 randomly shuts off
Hey guys my new iMac is randomly shutting down after about 5-10 mins. The power cord is fine not damaged. I have updated the device and also rolled back software just to test. Still no luck. Thanks for any help

You really have no options!
Time to either go back to the seller of your system or go to an Apple Store. Make sure to bring your power unit as well.

Since you were able to reinstall the OS, I'm guessing the device works normally in Recovery Mode. If that's the case, you might not have a hardware issue. Does the issue occur in Safe Mode? Have you tried running the built in Apple Diagnostic utility? Are you performing a clean OS installation and setting it up as a new computer when you reinstall the OS or are you preserving or restoring your data? If you've only tried the latter, you might want to try a clean OS install to see if the issue persists when set up as a new computer. If you've tried all of these things and nothing helps, then you should consider contacting an Apple repair store. Good luck!

Mine is 4 months old and started doing it. Just traveled 4 hrs round trip to nearest Apple Store to drop off. Hoping to do same trip after fix next week.
