The screen is black. Then when I finally finished restarting and it shows my homescreen it suddenly freezes and the same blinking white light will appear and take a long time to restart which takes up a lot of my battery power. This has been going on for 2 days.

Try the following to see if the problem is resolved.
Wipe the cache partition and check if it now starts OK.
Start the phone in safe mode and check.
If it works OK in safe mode then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one, and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to see if it works OK. When it does then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the problem. A downloaded app is one that you downloaded and installed on the phone and wasn’t already pre-installed on the phone when you first got it.

When I hit the reset button and it was still black a little tiny white light dot came on. Then my phone turned back on. Was it recording me???
