Upgrading RAM and Storage (SSD)

I currently hold 8gb memory with 128gb storage. Am at a point where am at half of the storage to 57.02gb left. Am worried that my MacBook Air will start acting up if I let these things pass and not upgrade. I just really want to give this device a longer lifespan and a better performance. What is your suggestion.

Sadly, your systems RAM is limited to 8GB so you do need to be a bit more aggressive on having free space on the SSD to compensate for that.

I would upgrade the SSD to at least 480GB or better yet a full 1TB MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (Mid 2013 to Early 2015) Blade SSD Upgrade Bundle That should give you lots of virtual RAM space as well as extra space!

Here’s the needed guide to get it done MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 SSD更换

Given the systems age I would keep an eye on the battery as you could be getting close to needing a new one. Let’s get a better view of things, install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see 在已经存在的问题里加入图片
