Feviquick got inside charger port, is it safe to use?

My laptop charger port (something like this but not same)was loose, so whenever i tried to plug my charger in, the charger pin just pushed away the port further inside. I opened the laptop and checked, the cable near the end was unstuck from the base (the rest of it was fine). I didnt want to use Feviquick/superglue to stick the cable. The port itself had a metal casing and had plastic guides near its mouth. (Not sure what to call it, it was two strips of plastic that mark the position of the place where the charger port goes. I used feviquick on those two strips to fix it in place. I had my charger pin inside to make sure it aligns properly. After fixing it, when i pulled out the pin, it was initially stuck inside and had black stuff with feviquick stuck to its outer metallic surface. Im not sure if plastic inside the casing melted or something else.

Is it safe to use it in this condition or should i get the port replaced?

If you provided pictures it would help, but from what I have seen, most of the time if it still works it will be fine. I have seen charge ports missing plastic inserts that still work fine and if something does go wrong, typically the charger (if it isn’t a cheap knockoff replacement) will detect an excessive draw and shut itself off as a form of protection. If you notice anything like that happening, you should replace the port and potentially the charger. If you don’t, you should be fine.
