Dead shock I'm almost dead

Man ... I repaired a lot of iMacs. But this is the first time I have received a fatal electric shock from the power supply. It was horrible ... why does it come like this ... And it doesn't work at all ...

IMac power supplies are harmless, right?

Far from it! ALL power supplies have capacitors!

These can hold affair amount of energy. So when you cross your hand across the contacts you can get a very good Zap! Touch one contact with one hand and the other from the other and you can stop your heart! With dire conquests

“The next few steps bring your hands close to the exposed face of the power supply. To avoid a high voltage shock from the many large capacitors attached to the board, do not touch the face of the power supply.“
