Battery replacement Mid 2012 MacBook Pro

I replaced the battery in this device several times. Initially, with a cheap battery. It did not work. I learned here about the difference in batteries. I returned and got a more expensive battery. It worked ok for a couple years. This time around I went for the Ifixit battery. I had to return the first one after a week, it wouldn’t hold a charge. The second I have had for less than a month. The charge lasts maybe 2 hrs. What bothers me most is design capacity is now 77% with about 10 charge cycles. This Macbook is still running great with 16mb memory, 1TB SSD, and 1 TB HD replacing DVD. The weak link is the battery. Ifixit is willing to replace my battery again. Is this the best I can expect or should I continue replacing trying for a better battery?

Well If Ifixit is willing to replace the battery then I think you should since it could be a faulty battery but if you charge your laptop over night or didn’t recalibrate the battery those could be factors I will put a video bellow.

This is my third battery. It appears to work fine, except it doesn’t hold a charge as long as I would like. Battery indicator says like 3 hrs, but never lasts that long. This doesn’t concern me as much as the design capacity has dropped from 103% to 92% in less than a month. This Macbook Pro is 9 years old, I want this to be my last battery. Should this concern me?

@todivefor - I would check your charger and the MagSafe connections to make sure they are in good shape. Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters

Sadly I think iFixit got a bad run of batteries. I would contact them for a replacement.
