Battery reboots sporadically, trying to determine where the issue lies

As title says, the battery is causing the device to sporadically shut down and reboot. The battery percentage is also not properly reflecting charge level as it will show a different percentage when charging and when off the charger. I know it is the battery in question and not the device’s hardware or software since I tested this on multiple devices.

I am trying to see if I can address this issue by cycling this battery or doing something else to the battery. I can charge the battery fine, however my machine cannot discharge the battery and fails every time. I am using the two large terminals on the battery as my contact points, which works for charging, however do I need to use a different pairing to for fully discharge it?

We are located in one of the heavily affected areas from the cold snap and shipping is severely delayed, hence my trying to fix the battery instead of just getting another.

You can’t really ‘fix’ a battery. These lithium ion batteries only have a limited lifespan. It sounds like your battery is just bad. I would wait until you can get a new one.
